Our Embryos and Open Adoption

The donor couple was notified and they accept us as well! We are ecstatic. What a crazy process!! We decided while in Tennessee that we would have an open adoption arrangement with our donor couple. We decided this because our adopted son has an open adoption with his birth mother. It is a very healthy relationship. It is not invasive and she gave us such a precious gift, we, of course, as long as she wants to, will continue to send pictures and let her know how Brody is growing and progressing in his live. So, in order to create confusion in children, we decided to do the same thing for any children that result from this Embryo Adoption. We feel it is right and are excited to hear from them.
